TBH, your privacy and security are pretty dang important to me. Unfortunately, I only have so much control when using services run by other people/companies.

General Tracking Information

I do not, personally, track anything here.

I use Ghost as my CMS, and I don't know what it tracks. Here's their privacy policy.

I use DigitalOcean for my VPS, and I don't know what it tracks. Here's their privacy policy.

I use ConvertKit (aff) for my email subscription and newsletter service. They do track some things, but I think most of them have to have your consent. This includes but is not limited to: putting your email into the ConvertKit forms. Here's their privacy policy.

I do not use any sort of ad platforms, but some links on this site may be "Affiliate" or "Referral" links. I will notify you on pages where they exist.

Anything that I do refer is something I wholeheartedly believe in. I will not recommend anything to you that I wouldn't use myself.

Any link indicated with (aff) is an affiliate link. This means I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you, if you purchase from the link.

For example, I receive a 30% commission if you sign up for ConvertKit (aff).

Any link indicated with (ref) is a referral link. This means I receive some sort of benefit, though not directly financial, if you purchase from the link.

For example, I receive 20% off of my subscription fee if you sign up for Team Treehouse (ref).

Analytics

I don't use Google Analytics, nor anything else.

As an SEO professional, this hurts. But I believe in your privacy more than I desire online success.

GDPR Stuff

I am happy to have anyone from anywhere in the world on my website, but I do not intentionally advertise to anyone outside of the USA.
